2017 In Perspective….

Dear Friends,

I pray this finds you all alert to the times and season before us, trusting God, and standing in His Grace and Power through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Each of us must pray for the root of Christ to run deep in our being, and thank God for His stability and wisdom in this dark and uncertain world.

There is a premium on stability and sanity in America these days.

This has been a quiet season for me.

The word the Lord has given me for 2017 is very simple:  in this complicated and deteriorating age in which we live, the enemy is in a frenzy to deceive and distract God’s people with lies and the confusion of multiple circumstances in each Christian’s life.

It is a diabolical and cruel scheme working along with the spirit of antichrist to wear out the saints.

This is not a perfect world:  this age is like an old spacecraft or satellite in a decaying orbit and is losing parts and trajectory.  There is such demonic numbness and hysteria.  People are being mass herded emotionally and psychologically, and very sadly, spiritually, like lemmings, to run off a cliff plainly seen by those with discernment.

The psychology of the mob is a study in the unseen realm: there is no rhyme or reason.

Some root of lawlessness and rage, untouched by the Gospel of Jesus Christ,  is mutually shared and easily ignited.  Those who incite this destruction of lives and property are never involved, but sit back and chuckle at the ease with which people created in the image of God can be programmed like Pavlov’s dogs to foment chaos upon innocent and law-abiding citizens.

Jesus spoke plainly to us about these days,

Matthew 24:10-14

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

10 And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred.

11 And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error.

12 And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity,

13 But he who endures to the end will be saved.

14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

I have long taught the the day will come when cultural Christians will persecute true Christians in this nations….now it is readily apparent the national deity for many who profess Christ is BAAL.  They teach and preach how to “get along” in this world, an earthly kingdom without trouble, and a man and culture centered gospel.  They bless abortionists as kind people doing the will of God.

They contort the Truth as a means to a desired end.

They say nothing about Heaven and Hell and redemption through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.

WE must, as those Blood bought, remember this Age is drawing to a close, and there is work to get done in a short period of time.

WE have watched America become the chief perpetrator of the global genocide of Christians on planet earth the last several years:  hopefully this will change, but WE have been in agreement with death, hell and the grave as a people.

I am ashamed as an American and can only ask for God’s Mercy and Repentance, and ask for Revival to touch our stricken land.  I spend many hours only praying in the Holy Spirit as my natural mind does not know what to pray in the spiritual fugue that has assaulted the souls of the Body of Christ.

Actually the time is not short, but rather spent: we are transitioning into the season of those things which must come to pass because it is written. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word of God endures forever.

Our greatest commodity on this earth is actually time.  Time as a dimension is failing:  the reaper is overtaking the sower, and time is shortened for the sake of the elect.

Perhaps many in the Church, most certainly the whole of mankind, have been penetrated by the deceiving spirit seducing them that this world is the only life that matters, and that our lives are our own to do with as we deem best, and most sadly, regardless of the degree of stubbornness and rebellion against God, we are “right with Him”.

This is the leaven we must all beware.

Deuteronomy 29:14-19

New King James Version (NKJV)

14 “I make this covenant and this oath, not with you alone, 15 but with him who stands here with us today before the Lord our God, as well as with him who is not here with us today 16 (for you know that we dwelt in the land of Egypt and that we came through the nations which you passed by, 17 and you saw their abominations and their idols which were among them—wood and stone and silver and gold); 18 so that there may not be among you man or woman or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations, and that there may not be among you a root bearing bitterness or wormwood; 19 and so it may not happen, when he hears the words of this curse, that he blesses himself in his heart, saying, ‘I shall have peace, even though I follow the dictates of my heart’—as though the drunkard could be included with the sober.

This is a very specific warning about a deceiving spirit which enters through idolatry, rebellion, and stubbornness.  Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as the sin of idolatry.

WORMWOOD is mentioned in other Scriptures.

Jeremiah 9:15

therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

“Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets: ‘Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, And make them drink the water of gall; For from the prophets of Jerusalem Profaneness has gone out into all the land.’”

Lamentations 3:15

He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drink wormwood.

Lamentations 3:19

Remember my affliction and roaming, The wormwood and the gall.
You who turn justice to wormwood, And lay righteousness to rest in the earth!”

Do horses run on rocks? Does one plow there with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into gall, And the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,

The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

I challenged the reader to research these Scriptures for himself:  this is a devious and subtle deceit blossoming at the End of the Age.

Simply, the Lord wants each of us in 2017 to focus on vision, purpose, and obedience to what we do and who we are in Him.  This Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached to every living being.  Ask God to allow the Holy Spirit to avoid every distraction and deliver you from every confusion.

It is past time for us to yearn for the Root of Christ to grow deep in our being, to use our spiritual armor, and to year for our hearts to be undivided for Jesus.

So many of us are scattered around in our walk with Jesus, bound with regrets, condemned by our failures.  This year truly is a new start and I believe a real year of Jubilee.

It is the will of the Lord in 2017 for us to be precise in how we serve him and spend our time, no longer like a blunderbuss or sawed-off shotgun, but a fine rifle with a marksman site to stay on target.  This is a time of retuning and returning and learning again to honor The Secret Place as sacrosanct.

Your Heavenly Father longs for these things more than you and I do, and He is well able to guide us and teach us to get back on point so that what is written can come to pass……we hasten the Lord’s return with our obedience.

You are loved with an Everlasting Love and held in Everlasting Arms….stay true…..

……He will keep you until that soon coming Day and has such a Salvation reserved for you in Heaven.

May we all boldly approach the Throne of Grace through the Blood of Jesus Christ, knowing He was a Man of Sorrows and is acquainted with our weakness and knows how to keep those who are stumbling..

At the same time reverence and honor Him with Godly awe, knowing that our God is a consuming Fire.

The Times we have read about and heard through teaching, preaching, and prophesy are upon us.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you….stay near.
