What wonderful and challenging days we live in; it shall soon be said it was the best of days and the worst of days! Guard the moment and behold the Lamb of God! The word “behold” means “fix your gaze on Him and never turn away”.
Jesus is our visible Destination. Our vision must not decrease but increase. This world and all that is in it has been designed to fog and blind the whole word. The Glory of God and greater consecration are our fog lights, enabling the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to be our GPS (God Positioning System).
This is the time to imprint on the reality of Eternity and our duty here until our work is done…..keep these words of promise as you read this letter,
“10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of[ love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, 14 saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”[ 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16 For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.
17 Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might[have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20 where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”—Hebrews 6: 10-19
Just as these days are not easy, this letter will be challenging: God has promised us and sworn to us…we must now lay hold of the Hope set before us; this hope is our anchor and our comfort: Jesus has gone before us and is holding the way Home open for us.
We must face some simple facts.
God has reserved us for this time. He is anointing us to speak Truth to a world that seems content without the Truth, is hostile to the Truth, and hates those who speak the Truth.
That being said, there are multitudes in the valley of decision and we must speak and build and look up….
Now, the Time is spent and there is none to waste; Godly diligence and perseverance are KEY. All things are in God’s Hands now and much is ahead.
The word I keep hearing in my heart is “DONE”.
This letter is lengthy and is from my heart.
I want to encourage you all to submit to the deep healing and cleansing of your souls by the Holy Spirit during this season. Many are falling into destruction and depravity: I do not mean babes in Christ. Keep your hearts with all diligence as the spirit of antichrist works against the saints to wear us out.
The Fire of God has fallen on us, there is pruning in God’s Vineyard, and also digging up; because so many of us have not run to meet the Lord as He walks before us, we are not fully prepared for this season.
There is much confusion and fear.
The world around us is being shaken in every arena and so are we, inasmuch as we are standing on what can be shaken and not on the Rock. Time for a location and foundation check! Don’t be afraid to step up to a higher place with the Lord, even if that place is the unknown. Faith is like that sometimes.
Wherever our souls are tied to drawing strength from what can be shaken, our inner man now trembles. It is the rumbling of all Creation within us. Some choose denial as it seems better than fear; others choose rebellion, for the flesh cries,
“Why serve a God that allows me to go through distress and trials?”
Others choose to set their eyes on the Prize, and to walk forward, knowing in their hearts the path of the righteous is a shining path that grows ever brighter to the Coming Day and that God makes our path plain because of the oppressor.
Denial becomes entrenched as faith—this is a big one these days. There is a difference between negative things which are against the Word of God, and the inner struggle between the full counsel of God’s Word and His directions/plans for the individual.
Part of very positive growth for the believer is realizing there are seasons of life and situations in which there is a difference between what God wants and we want.
Good for us and sorrow for our souls, the will of God is not always what we would choose for ourselves. Therein we wrestle. It is not so bad to limp. People who limp are often shunned: we look funny; we are not God’s green berets. That is often the paradox of the folly of image and blindness to substance. It is all in the arena of who we choose as the base of authority, acceptance, and identification, God or man. We will have favor with man if our search is for favor with God: those who hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled.
We will lose favor with God if our search is for favor with man: plugging into a group is not a bad thing; that group becoming the governor of Christ in you is. I don’t know if it is a universal experience for Christians, but all that I know have had seasons of this and been frustrated to the place of distraction and disillusionment. The tendency is to be embittered with Christians and drift further away. Jesus is the Life Giver.
The problem with so many of us Christians is the search for a leader we can put a saddle on and ride into the will of God….then when that magic preacher fails or can’t realize our expectations, we are angry. Only the Lord can fill and fulfill us.
Let it suffice to say that this is the Season to come back Home in our hearts and to finish this wonderful Journey in obedience, love, service, humility, and with great hope and faith. There is more power in the limp that you know!
I used to have a friend many years ago who was crippled. He was a brilliant man who often evoked stares and snickers. He sometimes wore a pin that said,
“IHOP for a reason!”
So do we who limp…..
Don’t ever forget that Jesus is the Prize and remember all that Paul said in Philippians about his own pursuit of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is my personal opinion that Paul was a very wealthy young man at the top of his game as a Pharisee of the Pharisees. He had it all: lineage, education, connection, talent and ability, and success and acceptance.
Then he wrestled with God.
If you are at your breaking point, go ahead and get alone with the Lord Jesus and crumble. After you crumble pour out your heart to the Lord, until you are poured out. Say it all. Then worship in the Secret Place. Stay there a while. You will emerge from His Presence changed and stronger. Next time don’t stay away until you are wrecked.
Read the Psalms: David often went into the Presence of the Lord distraught and defeated. Look at Psalms 13 and 42…there are many more.
He came unglued in his prayers and petitions and crumbled. He stayed there with the Lord until faith arose in his heart, and his soul was restored.
Resilience is an enduement resulting from time alone with the Lord. Real “manning up” is being filled. Don’t ever forget we leak. If in Him we live and move and have our being, then how can our being make it without drawing near Him….
…..again, only He is sufficient for this season.
The Lord spoke to me in Summer of 2008 that I had to realize from that point forward, He would have me be always mindful that wherever He had me preach, I would be standing before people in every place, some of who would give their lives for Him. Jesus and much of the New Testament plainly speaks of this possibility; we hear of the martyrdom of our brethren in many parts of the world almost daily now.
Yet, the few times the Holy Spirit has had me teach on this, it is an alien concept to the multitude, though this confirms to the heart of those who know this could be the cup we choose. Christians who live in hard places know this well.
The Word does not oppose faith, but guides it, even the things that are hard to take. There is very much in this life that is sweet to the taste and bitter in the stomach or bitter to the taste and sweet in the stomach.
The reality is the Word implies the Christian may have the choice between deliverance or a better resurrection when presented with death for Jesus sake(Hebrews 11: 32-40). I wonder if the possibility of giving one’s life for Jesus freaks the soul out so bad because we balk at living for Him?
I believe the demand for a perfect earthly kingdom and denial of anything but earthly bliss is the main root for “having itching ears” in these Latter Times. Those who hear what they don’t want to hear simply shut it down in their hearts (“this is not the will of God and I won’t receive it”).
The other dynamic in denial which begets deception, is anger against those who speak what is not desirable.
I now see a state church arising ( I believe springing forth from the influence of antichrist through the door of denial and self-will) that is funded by government money and not subject to the same scrutiny through which “non-conforming” churches are gauntleted. Keep your eyes open. If it looks like a dog, barks like a dog, scratches like a dog, then it’s a dog.
This is real. You watch it on television daily.
Rebellion begets hatred and pain, for oneself and for everyone else. This witchcraft lends itself to several paths. One is to oppose God openly, the other is to change Who He is, and another to blend with the world or become one with the world knowingly. Those who embrace rebellion against God as a way of life after they have known the Truth either self-destruct or destroy others, sorrowfully both at different times of life.
I had a dear friend in Bible school. He and his wife became missionaries, and had spent years of preparation before they went. They were not well received in most churches because they were not showy. They suffered greatly financially. He was a very well-educated man; then his much beloved non-Christian father died. He did not receive Jesus before he died. Something cracked in my brother.
They left their ministry behind…he embraced universalism. He is now a tenured professor at a college, impacting thousands of students every year with his new religion. It is accepted because it is what the world wants and the spirit of this Age dictates. He has also turned his wife and children to his beliefs.
They have prosperity and acceptance.
He is sowing destruction into future generations; he may enjoy the applause of the world, but his own demise is certain.
I know other rebels who live in abject misery and degradation…there is more hope for them to return than those who have found pride, pomp, and circumstance FOR A SEASON in tandem with this lost and dying world.
This world does love its own.
I believe those who are in denial and those who are in rebellion are going to be jolted by the Holy Spirit, combined with the specter of such shaking as the world has never seen: God will give all mankind a chance to hear and see! Those Who belong to Him and are aware of times and seasons, much more so. This shaking will be enormous confirmation to those who are led by the Holy Spirit!
The Bible tells us of suffering and shaking, particularly in I Peter and in Hebrews 12 and 13; we are admonished to love one another fervently and to have brotherly love. God does not say this for no reason. One of the earmarks of these days under the influence of antichrist and self-seeking is the love of the great body of people waxes cold, even without natural affection.
There is troubling aspect of this among many groups of Christians: when people disappear from your ranks, find out where they are and go to them! I would adjure pastors, leaders, and all Christians to not go on the offensive when someone leaves or disappears from our midst.
God is not always “purging the church” when a saint goes missing, even the ones that are less than perfect or are not able to float the boat. The messed up and poor are sheep as well. Too many times in our quest for image and excellence, we over look angels on assignment and I do mean that literally.
At some point we must humbly bow to the Love of God, leave the 99 and go after the one missing sheep. Even if we are rejected, at least we tried. Keep on trying. We are to win the lost and the wayward, to restore the erring brother or sister! I have gone into places and said and done things to try to reach one gone away that causes me to know Christ the Hope of Glory gives me strength. Oh, the sorrow and broken heart of God to face one who has left the faith!
Let us make sure we do not dig a grave, shoot them in the head, push them in and then expect them to bury themselves.
“And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.” –Daniel 11:35
I know I have pulled this verse out of context, but the principal is oh so true….pride does come before a fall. God does oppose the proud. Jesus is a Stumbling Block.
Never disembowel one who has been away from the Lord and returns. Only God knows what that one has been taught in the university of lawlessness and the wages of sin. How many have turned away to return and become great lights in the Body?
I have a dear prophet friend who was away from the Lord for many years, in fact decades. His return to the Faith cost him millions of dollars and a marriage based on money. He told me of a dream in which he was driving down roads and paths picking up those who had turned from the Lord in disappointment.
The Lord spoke to him and told him a great part of his ministry in the future was to restore those who had left because they went through distress and hard times they had not bargained for. The Lord told Him that He was returning soon, but His return would not come as soon as some had banked on.
He told him that many would fall, but he would be one of His servants who brought them back into the fold and poured in the oil and wine.
I believe that all of us should strive to be such restorers….sometimes folks just fall apart. Don’t be afraid of them. It is not catching, but should be sobering. Don’t throw people away that falter in the Way. God is not done with them. “My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” –James 5: 19-20
Longsuffering just doesn’t mean we suffer long; many times it means we suffer long with others. It is called forbearance. It is how God treats us and puts up with us. It is a fruit of mercy, discernment, and understanding.
It is not weak; it is wise.
Many of us have been taught and believe we never have to suffer anything for Jesus—Paul would be an abject failure by this standard of measure, as would all of the first apostles and most of the Church down through the Church Age. Endurance is a Christian virtue, tied to perseverance and longsuffering,
“…..they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ‘We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.’” –Acts 14: 21b-22
Why not check out what the New Testament says about endurance? Read the things that Jesus said about walking with Him and the response of the world to Him and to us—these are not obscure passages of Scripture hidden in the ditch of an over-speculative mind trying to freak people out,
18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My Name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’” –John 15: 18-25
There are many other similar passages throughout the New Testament….just saying.
And please, save yourself from winds of doctrine! Don’t let some deceived preacher tell you Jesus was not talking to the Church, but only to the disciples.
Read 1 Peter and 2 Peter….goodness, I heard more about these days we live in now as a little kid in a back road country Baptist church than most dare speak from the pulpit these days. Many preachers refuse to say Jesus is the only Way to salvation, even when pressed on television: this is the spirit of antichrist.
Keep the Word of God always precious in your heart and minds and remember that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Remember that Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word of God endures forever. If you and God ever have a difference of opinion, He is always right and you (and me) are always wrong.
The spirit of apostasy is very strong in the land. The spirit of apostasy and antichrist hates Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only Way to the Father. These demon princes hate those who know and stand on the Rock. Thank God He is our Shield and our Rear Guard, and our Exceedingly Great Reward!
I am shocked to the core of my being, watching great leaders launch into error. God is not calling us “back home” to the Roman Catholic Church, and the New Testament has not been divided in pieces by the “new revelation” of hyper-Grace. There is no symbiotic relationship between Christianity and Islam, and Jews are not saved under the Law unless they can keep it perfectly without one mistake ever.
The last time I checked, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no man comes to the Father but through Him. He died to give us salvation through His Broken Body and His Blood; no other Name but the Name of Jesus is worthy. He is the Perfect Sacrifice!
Hundreds of millions of saints have paid for this Truth with their lives down through the Church Age. When we disavow Jesus as the Lamb of God and say there are “other ways”, we not only trample His Blood underfoot, but also the blood of our brethren slain for His sake and His testimony. I wonder if this is why they cry out to Jesus in Heaven? (Revelation 6:10)
Last time I checked, Jesus is the Door into the sheepfold and anyone who tries to come in any other way is a thief and a robber. There is no other Name under Heaven by which men must be saved. Paul sought to know nothing among the Corinthians except Jesus Christ and Him crucified..
There is no remission of sin without the shedding of Blood, Perfect Blood. The last time I checked, everything the Bible says is sin is still sin and the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus.
I am convinced that Satan working through science with all the modern and frightening technology and knowledge may very well try to develop missing link creatures through cloning and hybridization just to try to disprove Scripture and destroy Biblical Christianity. Those who hate the Truth already lie with no regard they will one day face the Living God, just to promote their agendas and to deceive others.
Darwinism, Humanism, Paganism, and Hinduism are all blended together with the worship of Baal, Molech, and Tammuz for the new world religion. They say there is no sin and no Savior and no Heaven or Hell. Wait and see the “discoveries” on the horizon.
My pastor in the late 70’s told me these things would come to pass. He also told me that before Jesus returned the world would be fixated on UFO’s and aliens and not to be shocked if they appeared, but they would be demonic manifestations. I believe this world literally will be as in the Days of Noah, when there giants in the land. These evil creatures were birthed out of the demonic into human women.
We will see what we will see….they appeared again after the Flood and their descendants were even found in Canaan.
One of the greatest needs pressing the Church is to Study to show yourselves approved so that you can be good workmen, and not easily led astray by antichrist. Read I and II Peter, I John-III John, The Book of Jude. So much of these Bible Books is spiritual food and revelation for us RIGHT NOW concerning false teachers and antichrist. Devour Titus, I and II Timothy: we need to stand and learn and obey. Stop looking for favor from the devil…..
I believe we are about to launch into the Parable of the Dragnet:
“Again the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and there they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.
SO IT WILL BE AT THE END OF THE AGE (caps mine)
The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”—Matthew 13: 47-50.
The influx of souls is coming: you concentrate on keeping yourself straight doctrinally and in the Faith; influence others. God is about to throw out the dragnet. Do your best to keep your eyes on your course set before you. There is going to be so much error and folly it will be difficult to restrain ourselves from immense distraction. Go for souls and healthy discipleship.
The Gospel will be preached and we will be busier than ever before.
God will manage His Own Harvest…if we try to uproot the tares, we uproot innocent wheat as well. I am watching a few situations, knowing that God is biding His time for the sakes of the flock. There is a time to speak out and a time to keep silent. Remember that even Satan comes as an angel of light.
I do tremble, knowing it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God!
There here are Jesus’ own strong words against the Pharisees concerning religion which controls and deceives,
“And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” –Luke 3: 9
I would strongly urge you who claim the name of Jesus to refrain from shedding innocent blood in the Body of Christ, from laying snares and stumbling blocks of sin and offense into which others will fall. We take lives and hold souls captive without stopping to realize what we do.
We must all properly discern the Lord’s Body.
God does not take these things lightly.
We murder and destroy and lead others into temptation with abandon….may God be merciful in His justice. How many have been callously destroyed and forced away from the Lord and His Fellowship by those who stand in houses of worship with their hands raised? There are too many needless casualties. Marriages are destroyed, parents alienated from children, people brought into great ruin, and no one takes it to mind.
I have buried two friends killed by “friendly fire”; I know many more whose marriages were destroyed, others whose children and spouses are “trophies” for the arrogant.
I know more than I dare say….there is a reason Paul pleaded with the saints, “…knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.” I have always wondered what Paul saw when he was in the Third Heaven. I wonder what horror he saw of those who denied the Lord or caused others to stumble? What warnings and corrections had he received in his own life to cause him to write to the whole Church Age, “…..knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.”? (2 Corinthians 5:11)
This is not written to be a stumbling block for babes and the broken but a warning for the strong and stubborn who take no responsibility for what they say and do. To whom much is given, much is required.
Far too often those who do not need to repent weep at altars, rending themselves with condemnation, while those who do need to cry out, “I have played the food and erred exceedingly!”, sit idly by and gaze on them.
God does not quench smoking flax or break a bent reed; He does despise whitewashed tombs full of dead men’s bones.
Dorothy, this is not Kansas and this is not a game, it is life or death, Heaven or Hell.
Strong delusion has come. There are a couple of unique conundrums plaguing the nation and the Church.
A Christianity that is not Christian is sweeping the Church….it is grotesquely deformed but beautifully veiled in false peace and universalism. Recently I saw the video of a ministers’ conference; a representative from the Vatican was there. He was twisting the Scripture enormously, calling Protestants “back home to the Catholic Church” for the purposes of “ushering in the return of Jesus”.
This devilish man called the Protestant Reformation “Martin Luther’s problem” that never should have taken place. Really? Study history…in what world was the Reformation one man’s “problem”? IN A BEGUILING AND DEVILISH ONE!
I was horrified….
There was a video phone message from the Pope, calling them “back home” again, asking them to pray for him with him extending his “heart’s desire” for unity.
Then I saw great ministers stand weeping with their hands in the air praying in tongues. The leader was glazed over and not by the Holy Spirit. It was a large gathering, and most of the people were in the same “anointing”….it was not from God, BUT ABSOLUTELY FROM THE PIT OF HELL!
For as long as I had the mind to understand, my grandmother, a Bible student and teacher for 78 years of her 96, told me this day would come and warned me persistently. She spoke to me about Church history and what would come to pass.
The problem is that evidently great men and women don’t know the Word or are easily deceived by things that look like God. I was shaken to my foundation by what I saw and heard on this video.
Guard your hearts with all diligence….the preaching of blasphemy with demonic signs and wonders is extremely near. Hear this now before the mad rush to false messiah’s begins. I am warning the saints to pay attention to details and not submit to emotion and “spiritual atmospheres” just because you can feel it. You can “feel” any spiritual atmosphere—BE ON GUARD!
The other ominous trap I see is a fervent patriotism that is not American, but global and both anti-sovereignty and anti-Christian—-it is unifying the rebellious. This kind of nationalism is another fruit of antichrist.
Our young are in the latter grips of grooming for a “cultural revolution” that will turn on the foundations of the nation and hate anyone and anything resenting or resembling the Christian building blocks of the United States: our great leaders have been at this for three generations now. This sabotage of the young and through the young took place in every totalitarian regime of the 20th Century from the Fall of Russia onward….all Communist and Fascist (remember that Hitler and Stalin had initially agreed to divide the world after WWII through the Non-Aggression Pact).
Care to really study history?
This hostility includes the hatred of a free market economy and true entrepreneurship.
Quite honestly, in a number of states, those on welfare who do not work are in better shape than those who do. I just had a talk with a blue collar, hard-working brother today with five dependent children….they are not making ends meet but are disqualified from any assistance because they “just make too much money.”
I also am watching working people suffer and die because they cannot afford basic medical care and diagnostics…..
The game is demonic wickedness…when a society’s framework is destroyed, it can be replaced with anything that brings order. I have the privilege to have been taught to read and research for myself without dependence on the corporate media….I also have known older and wiser heads who have lived in and through the collapse of nations. This is not the focus of this letter, but it ties into the whole equation greatly.
I DO BELIEVE THERE IS HOPE…THE EXAMPLE IN SCRIPTURE IS DELIVERANCE THROUGH GOD IN THE FACE OF IMPOSSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES WITH NO NATURAL WAY POSSIBLE.
None of us are sufficient for these things or these days, but I believe we can hope against hope. God is not finished and He is going to show off in these Latter Times as He has many times before…The Ancient of Days is arising to do His strange and peculiar works upon the earth that no one else can do.
I also personally believe God is not done with America, but what must she see to cause her to bend her knees?
We forget that the world when Jesus returns will be as it was in the days of Noah….there is a Latter Times economy: the Scripture plainly states there will be buying and selling. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil; money is not evil: money has spiritual power to do good or evil. I believe it is second in power only to our words.
This is the snare I see for many Christians in America. People can say what they want to about prosperity…I see no place in Scripture God does not provide for and bless His people. There are multiple warnings about the idolatry of money, having an evil eye for mammon (this world system and all it represents).
There are also multiple promises that God honors obedience with finances and possessions. I am deeply sorrowful that for too many, the battle cry of the Christian is “Come money, come!” and not “All for Jesus!”. The abuse of truth does not negate truth.
God does bless and provide for His Own.
America is uniquely set among the nations to prosper without any outside influence; our natural resources are enormous and nowhere near depletion. We could boom for 1,000 years without any foreign assistance, except selling our goods to them. Our national economy has been shut down and what remains linked to our Chinese and Moslem handlers. There will be trouble.
After that trouble, bountiful prosperity will flow.
The Last Day’s economy is enormously deceptive and dangerous, as there is a growing hook in every penny we spend. Our politician bow not to the Constitution of the United States, but to global financial concerns, which President Eisenhower called, “the military industrial complex”.
He was very accurate.
This world is all about the love of money and control and assimilation forced if not “voluntary” into “the greater good”. The control of word and thought are in full swing. It is a disgrace not to fit in these days.
Even now, those who disagree are forced to be “re-educated” to remain in the cruel tender mercies of the wicked. Think about all the workshops and seminars for sensitivity training and political correctness.
Trust God and believe God for provision.
Plead also for protection and deliverance from idolatry, and the blending of watered down and castrated Christianity with global nationalism and culture worship (most of which is blatant Neo-Paganism combined with Hinduism) with the Name of Jesus attached. The Word is not important in this hellspawn; acceptance and false love are.
The antichrist himself will deceive many in their prosperity; we do not yet see him manifested, HOWEVER, the spirit of antichrist is here and growing bolder by the day. Money is now linked to perversion, political correctness and any number of other woes, including the suicide of excluding Islam from any criticism whatsoever.
I stand amazed.
Realize that all of us American Christians will have some hard choices to make in this life concerning who were are, Who the real Jesus is, and who we will serve. Money is all tied into this, the reward for joining the world and withdrawal of money, the punishment for being separate. Anyone in the public eye who does not tote the “company line” is destroyed.
Prosperity in all that God means it to be is never to be separated from absolute humility and dependence on Him—if one knows the spiritual power of the tool of money, having it should never foster pride, arrogance, and false superiority.
A fool does not seek God in poverty; a wise man does not forget Him in plenty.
Obedience to God with money and goods clearly brings a blessing from Heaven according to the Word of God….also read the warnings the Word gives concerning money.
The snare in our hearts is to arrive at never being dependent on God, but on money. What is the inner motive for seeking God for plenty? If it is to be independent from dependency on Him, what kind of self-defeating goal do we seek?
If the heart desire to be blessed is to be a blessing and to surrender to the Lord on a greater level than ever before to the purposes of God, then there is a channel dug for blessing to flow into the desert place. Don’t get the fortress mentality and be savvy to the pitfalls: PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT WEALTH DOES TO OTHER PEOPLE.
The day may come we will have to leave all and follow Jesus, or keep this world and deny Him, although the spiritual death trap will not be that blatant….remember if possible even the very elect will be deceived. Unless I am greatly deceived we will see church leaders take a chip in their hands or heads on television, urging their congregants and followers not to be afraid, proclaiming this is not “The Mark”, but a good thing, even the will of God and patriotic duty.
Read and believe all the Word of God says about God’s blessings, all of them. Also believe the warnings. Here is one of the clearest for this hour,
“…..useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the Truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we brought nothing out. And having food and clothing with these shall we be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and into a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”——I Timothy 6: 5-10
Realize that in the context of the time this was written, being rich would have entailed dealing with the “glory” that was Rome, and being subservient to the Roman economy which was not separate from the antichrist worship of the emperor.
I am not saying do not believe God for a vision and plan to prosper, and to be diligent with all that you do, with excellence to God. We are to plan for the future. One of the blessings of God is to take care of one’s family, even extended family members, and to leave an inheritance. One of the realities is that we must mark time well, and pray sincerely to be as the sons of Issachar,
“From the tribe of Issachar, there were 200 leaders of the tribe with their relatives. All these men understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take.”——1 Chronicles 12: 32 NLT
WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES AND TO HEAR FROM GOD WHAT IS THE BEST COURSE FOR US, THE CHURCH, TO TAKE…..
God certainly intends for some Christians to have great wealth…at the same time the Bible says the poor are rich in faith. Timothy addressed wealth very succinctly,
“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, Who giveth richly all things to enjoy.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”—-I Timothy 6: 17-19 KJV
We also need to learn that God and not man is our source; those who have wealth should not be resented because they do not meet every need. I have seen good people stripped of millions by grasping hands and impoverished themselves, literally.
With these things in mind, I suppose this letter can be summed up in these points:
God is pouring out Holy Fire and each of us must allow Him to consume whatever opposes Him in our lives.
There is great deception and idolatry which has been enculturated into what we consider Christianity…the spirit of antichrist is using this hook greatly. This deception will increase.
The Word of God and history have spoken to us, but we tend to be in denial about the teachings of Jesus about the opposition we have in this world and how costly our Faith is….just remember it pays to serve Jesus. We win.
Universalism and all saved by any name with no requirements or separation from sin or the world system is the gospel of the antichrist. Do not be deceived by illuminary leaders who stray from the Word of God, even with miracles, signs and wonders in manifestation.
Count the cost for remaining true to Jesus. I already see Christians lowering the Standard of the Word to hold onto wayward loved ones. It is better to lose someone for a season than to lose them forever. Be a deliverer and not an enabler.
Keep money in the proper perspective. Money is not evil; the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. People sell their souls for a meal ticket and a lifestyle every minute of every day.
If God prospers you greatly, have a vision to serve greatly. Do not believe you are a higher life form because of prosperity…the emerging Latter Days economy is treacherous: the power of money is deceitful.
Realize the day may come Christians will have to give up all and follow Jesus. Being faithful to Him might cost our lives.
I say this to everyone in all sincerity…not much else matters but loving Jesus, loving others in His Name, and serving Him in whatever way He leads. This is simply about as complicated as it gets. Love the Church…the Bible says so much about Christian community, which will soon be very wise indeed. We Christians need each other: The Brotherhood of the Saints.
We must all embrace the simplicity of Jesus Christ and build lives and reach this world for Him. We must guard one another. We must help keep one another in the Faith, and seek to rescue each other if we stray.
One last word of admonition: KISS THE SON LEST HE BE ANGRY…..OUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH!
God keep everyone of you in the Secret Place of the Most High in Jesus Name,
